Happy work week, babies! Are we all well-rested from a weekend of leisure? No. Let's be serious, we are all hungover and seriously angry at pants for existing. I share your pain vicariously, but am actually off today and have been lying by the pool for the past hour. I had big plans to wake up and work out, but retreated to my couch and watched 3 episodes of Real Housewives of Melbourne instead. Have you guys SEEN this trainwreck? Jackie. That is all I can say.
The whole RHO-franchise is an appropriate intro for this post. One of the best things I have discovered about Atlanta since moving here in 2012 is that girls here really lift each other up and promote each other instead of acting catty and tearing each other down, which is all too common these days. I moved here knowing only a handful of people and was instantly welcomed by a huge (mostly blonde) group of amazing girls. That was SO refreshing to me as it was a complete 180 from when I moved to Boston, where it took me a full year to make a solid, but small group of friends. Blame it on the South, but it also just goes to show the true caliber of the girls here in ATL. You go, Glen Coco.
For example, today I am fortunate enough to be meeting with a friend of mine, Jessica Camerata, who runs a wildly successful blog called My Style Vita here in Atlanta. I think the fact that she is willing to meet with a newbie like me speaks volumes and I am over the top thankful. Go check out her blog if you haven't already.
I am so excited to get some tips for this bloggle from a pro. Can't wait to share my newfound knowledge with you guys asap. Now, go. And remember, you have as many hours in the day as Beyonce. WERK.
