This is one of my new favorite looks, hands down. I always say that, don't I? Oh well, the second I throw this coat on, I feel put together. I am literally wearing a $5 tank and sweatpant-material joggers! Comfort level one hundred. I have been wearing this hat nonstop this winter. I even bought it in both faux-leather and this regular cloth material. Just can't seem to get enough of the athleisure trend, I hope it never leaves us! I also hope you never leave me. K? #cuzillfindyou

HELLO...IT'S ME.

Uhh..hi? I am so sooooo SO sorry for my absence, babes. I was legit deathly ill for an entire week. Okay, so I had a sinus infection, but it was TERRIBLE. I missed almost three full days of work (which is unheard of for me, by the way) and had a constant fever that kept me very horizontal on my couch with 'Making a Murderer' and my feline daughter. Needless to say, I needed a little break, BUT I AM BACK and almost feeling 100%. Almost. I just lost an eyelash in my tea. I am crying watching my dvr-ed Catelynn and Tyler's wedding. It's definitely the Mondayest Tuesday ever.

I got this jacket at the end of the season last year on major sale at H&M and legit forgot about it until I was going through my closet last month. Sad. #jackethoardersanonymous I found a pretty solid double for it this year that is only $59! I always go through the sale section on H&M's website, they mark things down tremendously and you can snag some pretty amazing pieces if you act fast.

In a lot of ways, a great coat can be an outfit all on its own. I could be wearing anything underneath it and it would still look chic. I love that this one has a huge folding collar that you can wrap around your entire head if you fear the wind like in the 'Stepsister from Planet Weird,' or if you run into someone you don't want to see, or if you haven't washed your hair since Monday. This is a judgement free zone. This one caught my eye when it was still 96 degrees in ATL, so you can imagine my excitement to break it out last week. It is now back in the 70s. I love the South.

I'm wearing it with sneaks here, but it also looks great dressed up with a pair of OTK boots like these. Not looking to be so spendy on a coat right now? Good, because apparently I waited so long to post this, it sold out, but don't worry...I gotchu. Here is a VERY similar version for under $30, and this one is a Forever 21 version.
