New Year's Eve is the absolute MOST fun night to dress for in my humble little opinion. I love the glitz and I live for champagne. The hunt for the perfect outfit never stops. I went out in search of this leather romper , but it was nowhere to be found (tear!) and I ended up with this pencil skirt instead. (It was cheaper! Winning.)

I am envisioning wearing it with a lace bralette top like this one. Don't you love when you have an outfit in your head and it ends up working!? Literally makes me feel like Rachel Zoe. Now I just need to figure out my shoe situation. Maybe these?

I am a self-admitted sneakerhead, but these pommed babies HAVE GOT to be my favorite purchase of 2016. Can I say that!? Under $100 and totally chic, these little softies look great with leather leggings, skinny jeans and even jogger sweats. MY DREAM SHOE. I imagine them being on heavy rotation in my wardrobe, especially when it comes to weekends and travel looks. My mom said they look like I am wearing my cat. haha! Why does that make me love them more!? For the recoard, no animals were harmed with the making of this blog post.

<Blogged while eating champagne bears from Sugarfina> It's almost the weekend again! I literally have no idea where this week has gone, but I am certainly not complaining. Give it. I wanted to share this little Insta(REPLAY) with you guys before I forget or have wine.

Starting from the top, you'll see my last jacket purchase of the season (maybe?), followed by the latest and greatest in my graphic tee collection from Wicked Custom Apparel, and finally, my GOTN (gown of the night) for a Great Gatsby themed birthday party I went to last weekend. TO DIEE for. I honestly wish I had more use for gowns. Oh and around my waist? That's a headband. Martha Stewart level creativity over here.

One of my favorite to-purchase pieces for fall is the leather tee. It is quite possibly the easiest outfit-maker since the white tee, but it gives your look a little extra edge. I am all for looking like I tried harder than I did. ALL THE TEES, PLEASE. You can also pretty much find them at every price point, so there is no reason you should not be snapping one up. Here is just one way I would style mine for a night out.

Emergency WINE-1-1. Are you guys surviving this arctic blast? I am hating it very much, but it does give me a chance to stay bundled in my favorite scarves. If you haven't shopped their site before, Alixandra Collections has the ever popular blanket scarf in every color. I just discovered this site and it has quickly become my go-to for accesories, including jewelry. We did this "breakfast at Nordstrom" style shoot BEFORE work yesterday morning. To say I could not feel my fingers would be a very large understatement. Don't say I never did anything for you.
