Fall is finally, officially here! I know closet enthusiasts everywhere are as excited as I am because there's so much to love about fall fashion. Of course, I'll have a hard time giving up my summer sandals (like these!!), but I'm just as excited to test drive some new cool-weather looks. That's probably the best part about the change in seasons--an excuse to constantly change your wardrobe..aka an excuse to SHOP. Some of the coolest boot styles out there, ankle boots should be your go-to's this season when wearing everything from shorts, to dresses and, of course, denim. Reaching from one to four inches above your ankle, these mini boots have transformed into all kinds of trendy styles that are sure to make you swoon. Fresh fabrics like velvet and shiny leather have also been making an appearance on the scene this year if you're feeling a little more adventurous. Need a little more proof? When in doubt, throw on booties. This is probably my favorite category right now because it is the one category I am actually currently shopping for myself. Oops, sorry. #selfish Like any good shopping-crazed lunatic on the hunt, I have scoured Pinterest gathering inspiration, I have searched Lyst where I found all kinds of bootie-and-denim combos, and I have stared at countless stranger's Instagrams in search of the perfect style for me. We saw a rise (get it? k.) in thigh-high boots last year, and these babies don't seem to be going anywhere anytime soon. Thank God for that, because I have 472 pairs. I'm exaggerating...sort of. OTK boots were considered to be an adventurous choice in years past...ehm, Pretty Woman anyone?..but today, these thigh-grazers are just as much of a staple as your favorite jeans.
