Let's face it, during the summer, what you wear under your clothes can be just as important as your outfit choice. It can be SO hard to find the right lingerie that is both functional in hotter temps and pretty to look at, so I have partnered with Kohl's to bring you a few summa-suggestions.

Aside from comfort of fit, the single most important factor in buying lingerie is FIT. I can't stress this enough. Get measured. Try on lots of sizes, not just the size you think you are. Nothing ruins a cute top like having an extra bulge caused by an ill-fitting bra, am I right?!
One of the best things about Kohl's is that they carry Cosabella, one of my all time favorite lingerie brands. (It's also a celeb fave! If you're into that sort of thing..) Cosabella has the absolute softest, most comfortable and breathable line of bras and undies I have ever found. Perfect to go under your summer wardrobe. Let's breakdown a few of the styles I swear by:
1| THE BANDEAU: I live for a bandeau in the summer. They are perfect under a swingy tank or dress, but can also act as a part of your outfit with a backless top or a low v-neck. I have these in legitimately every color of the rainbow, plus about 136 in black.
2| WIRE FREE BRA: I sleep in these every single night. Cannot get enough of these soft, but sexy little bralettes.
3| THE BALCONET: This sexy little option is a favorite of mine for a night out. The scalloped cups are so pretty, you almost don't want to cover them at all...but ya know, that would be trashy guys, come on.
4| THE LACE THONG: The lace thong is my go-to everyday choice. They are so soft and stretchy, but also thin enough to avoid that embarrassing VPL, as my mom would say.
5| THE SEXY HIPSTER: This is a dressier version of my favorite sleep short. I love the strappy detailing on the side!
6| THE SLEEP SHORT: The other half of my sleeping attire. I lovee these little lace shorts. They are so comfortable for sleeping, but are also breathable and light enough to keep you cool when it's 95 degrees outside.
It's easy to forget about what lies beneath your clothes, but honestly, as I've gotten older, what I wear underneath has become so much more important to me. Comfort is key, but wearing the right undergarments can also make your outfits fit better, and therefore, look better! Who doesn't want that!?

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! I for one, am still recovering. I raged, just like our forefathers before me. #AMERICA It's no secret that the off-the-shoulder trend has taken over the blogging world this season, but it's just SO flattering! I can't get enough of it and this top is under $15. You read that right.

If you follow me on Instagram, you know I have literally been living in these One Teaspoon shorts. They are kind of an investment, at least more than I would typically spend on denim shorts, BUT they have been worth every penny. So flattering and so comfortable, and I get compliments on them no matter how disheveled the rest of me looks!
It feels like I am celebrating the birthday of every bff I have this week. I must be super drawn to June babies, what can I say?
