Happy Cinco de Mayo, my little bambinos! Wait, I think bambino is actually Italian. WELL. I don't know about y'all, but cinco is by far my favorite de Mayo, because let's be honest, no one has ever understood May Day. If queso isn't involved, I am not really interested. If it was acceptable to live in a jumpsuit, I would. I ordered this one during my "People vs. OJ Simpson" watching spree and literally died laughing when I put it on because it reminded me so much of Johnny Cochran's collection of silk pajamas. That man DRESSED for bed, let me tell you. I also lovingly refer to it as Colonel Mustard, but honestly, it is one of my favorite purchases this year. It is under $40 and could not be more comfortable, plus you don't even need a bra. Funny story...I wore this to a wedding and forgot pasties, so I wore x-shaped band-aids underneath. I looked like a budget super-hero. Do as I say guys, not as I do. 

GOLDEN 'GRAMS.

Hi my Gilties! I am back from what feels like 3 weeks of traveling (dramatic), and am playing catch up like nobody's business. Miami was amazing. The weather was perfect, and there is something so great about a group of girlfriends that can spend most of the year apart, but come back together and laugh like absolutely zero time has passed. I am very thankful for my favorite five, that is for sure.

One of the hardest things about beach packing for me is remembering to bring anything to wear during the day that isn't a bikini or a cover-up. (But speaking of cover-ups...I am very much obsessed with this one I just got before my trip! Looks way more expensive than $19.99!) This amazing jumpsuit from Show Me Your Mumu is perfect to throw on for lunch or to wear out for dinner. I was sold on the print alone before I even saw the whole outfit. It's also on sale! I got an XS, but it does run slightly small in the waist, so I would recommend going up a size if you want it to be less squeezy and more breezy.

It also comes in pants and a dress...I am dying for the pants! Tax return? Hi. Could you hurry it up?

GILTY TURNS ONE!

Today is a big day in my little world. GILTY as charged is officially 1 year old! When I started this baby, I wasn't sure if anyone would read it aside from my mom (hey Suz!), but I was excited to have a creative outlet, and a place to gather my thoughts and ever-changing views on style. I also had a lot of questions like "what on earth is HTML?" and "why am I still hungry?" This #bloglife has been more fun and more work than I ever expected it to be, and I cannot thank you guys enough for your sweet support, words of encouragement and just for following along! Can't wait to see what this next year brings, but I hope it is lots. More is more, afterall.

Between my car dying (she's all better now!) and having my first experience with jury duty, this week has been kind of a blur. I apologize for my lack of posts, but I am back and am determined to be on it! Here are a few of my favorite looks from life lately:

MOTHER-LOVIN'.

Happy Mother's Day, Gilties! Whether you are a mommy to an actual human, or just a fur-momma like myself, we are all kinds of amazing and deserve to be celebrated today and everyday. Mother's Day is just hours away and I have a sneaking suspicion that Coco got me nothing. Again. She did, however, vomit on the carpet this morning, so that was sweet I guess. Ehm. 

As you guys know, I am freakishly obsessed with my tiny mother and consider her to be one of my closest friends. She is too precious not to be, honestly. It's hard to deny something so miniature. I tell her wayyy too many things, she never judges me too harshly(except for one incident in high school involving Cool World, Hooters in Greenville and teenage boy drivers), and she always laughs at my jokes. Those are really the only two things you need to do to get me to love you. If you also love wine and tolerate cats, let's just move in together, okay? My mini-mom is very active, which explains a few of these options, but I think anyone would be a lucky motha' to receive all or one of the following:
