Did we all survive Election Day?! I hid behind a bottle of pinot noir and a frozen pizza and was perfectly happy with both of those ballot choices. Today I am bringing you a little transitional cape look because if your weather is anything like Atlanta's right now, you have no idea what to wear comfortably from morning until night.

A cape is the perfect outfit topper --- easy to throw on, will keep you warm, and can even hide a stain if you happen to spill your morning latte. ME. I DID THAT. In a pinch, you can even use it as a blanket. Oh layers, I have missed you so!

It is FREEZING COLD and windy in Atlanta today. Horrible for your lip gloss, BUT a great day to be wrapped up in a cape like this one. I love that you can just basically throw a cape over whatever top you have on and stay very warm, while also looking like you have plans later that do not involve a frozen pizza and your cat. What? This is definitely not about me.

I have been searching for a pair of distressed white denim for the longest. This pair is super soft and comfortable(my white J.Crew jeans are so stiff, I swear I can feel every chicken nugget I've ever eaten), but they also hold you tight enough to lift your bum bum towards the sky. Yay. Not sure if you can tell from the pics, but they are frayed at the ankles which is very flattering and, in the warmer months, looks so cute with pumps. 

My weekend officially starts today at 5pm and my mom is in town! Insert several red salsa dancing girl emojis. Happy Sunday, babes.

FALL FAVORITES REVISITED.

Fall is here! (Sort of?) It's still hot in Atlanta, but it's coming and you can already feel it in the air. I love this time of year (typical, I know), but it really is the best. Plus, my birthday will be here soon. What's not to love? I wanted to revisit a few of my favorite looks from last year, because let's be honest, who can afford to buy brand new everything every single year? Not me, no matter how hard I wish for it in my Pinterest closet.
