Hi kittens! Happy Happy FRI-YAY! I am working a half-day today, and then hitting the road for a baby shower weekend in Fernandina Beach, Florida. MUCH. NEEDED. Bring on the sunshine. I had a few extra minutes, so I thought I'd share my packing list! It's gonna be warm during the day, but cooler temps at night, so I pretty much just packed everything I own per usual. Honestly, why do I act like there are there even seasons.

It's 29 degrees in Atlanta today, so this weekend couldn't have come at a better time! I snagged this pair of sunnies before the weekend and get this...they are men's. HA! Whatever, can sunglasses even have a sex? I think not. If you follow me on IG, you saw I also got this mega-free pair this week. Can never ever have too many pairs, fact.
I packed mostly comfy lounge-wear like this sweater, and my favorite cheapie black shorts. I am wearing a navy blue version of the black jumpsuit (#7) above to the shower, because ya know..it's a boy! :) i love a jumpsuit for an out-of-town event because it's just one piece and takes up almost zero room in your suitcase. I also ALWAYS bring my hand steamer to fix any wrinkles caused by travel. Fun fact: ya girl CANNOT iron.

My Christmas babies!! How are you ho-ho-holding up? I am recovering from being on my deathbed in this robe, yet again, with a sinus infection. Can I get a new nose? Like, is mine just not big enough to endure daily life? I just cannot. Anyway, I am on the mend thanks to a ton of real meth-filled Sudafed and enough Theraflus to float the Titanic, and that means I am back to YOU! All the merry feels. I am probably still gonna wear the robe though. Ok.

It's almost Thanksgiving and I, for one, cannot wait. I love Thanksgiving food, I love dressing for comfort/maximum food intake, and most of all, I love Thanksgiving SALES! I am not like a wake-up at 4am and stand in line type of Turkey Day shopper, but I do like to do a little browsing after I have had my fill of Sister Schubert dinner rolls, okay?
This outfit is perfect for both the dinner table (just lose the hat or your grandma might die) and the mall afterwards, although I will probably change into these sneaks for the shopping portion of the day.
I snagged this sweater because even though I love the idea of a turtleneck, some can be so strangle-ish! Maybe I have a thick neck? Idk, but the mock-neck is so much easier to wear all day long. My second choice would be this onesie...but ya know, that would be weird. Ehm. Hope you guys have a great Thanksgiving! I'm thankful you like to read this little site of mine.

Did you guys have Hot Topic in your mall? They would sell absolutely NOTHING like what I have on. How fun are these pants?! I wore them out to dinner in Florida last month (with a white crop top instead) and they were the perfect mix of dressy, different and comfortable in the hottest heat that ever heated. I have a long torso, so finding high-waisted trousers that are long enough for me to wear heels with is a MAJOR win. ('Trousers' is such an odd word..) The fact that they are currently still on sale is just a no-brainer. I'm actually annoyed because they are even cheaper now than they were when I found them.
When I love something, I love it hard..(trust me, I saw Titanic twelve times in theaters), and the same has been going for florals as of late. Also, very into this jumpsuit, just as a tropical side note. Makes me want a daiquiri. Monday funday, anyone? As always, thanks for reading along! Happy Cinco de Mayo, my little bambinos! Wait, I think bambino is actually Italian. WELL. I don't know about y'all, but cinco is by far my favorite de Mayo, because let's be honest, no one has ever understood May Day. If queso isn't involved, I am not really interested. Grab yourself a marg (hold the salt, because puffy face) and let's talk jumpsuits, shall we?

If it was acceptable to live in a jumpsuit, I would. I ordered this one during my "People vs. OJ Simpson" watching spree and literally died laughing when I put it on because it reminded me so much of Johnny Cochran's collection of silk pajamas. That man DRESSED for bed, let me tell you. I also lovingly refer to it as Colonel Mustard, but honestly, it is one of my favorite purchases this year. It is under $40 and could not be more comfortable, plus you don't even need a bra. Funny story...I wore this to a wedding and forgot pasties, so I wore x-shaped band-aids underneath. I looked like a budget super-hero. Do as I say guys, not as I do.

It is FREEZING COLD and windy in Atlanta today. Horrible for your lip gloss, BUT a great day to be wrapped up in a cape like this one. I love that you can just basically throw a cape over whatever top you have on and stay very warm, while also looking like you have plans later that do not involve a frozen pizza and your cat. What? This is definitely not about me.
I have been searching for a pair of distressed white denim for the longest. This pair is super soft and comfortable(my white J.Crew jeans are so stiff, I swear I can feel every chicken nugget I've ever eaten), but they also hold you tight enough to lift your bum bum towards the sky. Yay. Not sure if you can tell from the pics, but they are frayed at the ankles which is very flattering and, in the warmer months, looks so cute with pumps.
My weekend officially starts today at 5pm and my mom is in town! Insert several red salsa dancing girl emojis. Happy Sunday, babes.

You may not be aware, but over the weekend, Drake and I turned 29. That's right. There is a whole lot of OVO going on over here. We are basically related. #102486 Based on this and the fact that I am going to Kendrick Lamar tonight, it's only fitting that I do a little post on WTW to a rap concert. My life is your life, people. Embrace it.

As I see it, you have two real options. You can take the glam route (think Khloe Kardashian at a Lakers game), or you can go for a more casual look using the same destroyed black skinnys as your base. Personally, I am obsessed with both. I love an opportunity to wear a sneak or two. Also, unless it is the middle of summer and outdoors, I always dress in layers for concerts. You never know if the venue is going to be stifling or trying to freeze you out, so it's better to come prepared.
It is currently freezing and pouring down rain in ATL, so I am sure to look like the drowned rat version of whichever look I choose. Dear weatherman, don't kill my vibe.
