If you are a GILTY reader, you know I am a lake girl through and through. Don't get me wrong, I love the beach, but there is just something about the feeling I get at the lake that I just can't get at the beach when I am sticky, covered in sand, and dodging idiot seagulls...WOOF. Have I mentioned how much I hate birds? Rats with wings.

This past weekend I tagged along with Elisabeth (per usual) to her grandparent's house on Weiss Lake in Alabama. I never turn down a lake weekend and I never turn down an Elisabeth. I also just never really turn down. Ohhh! You guys saw that coming. I digress. Anyway, it was absolutely beautiful, the weather was perfect, and her grandparents were not only the sweetest and most accommodating, but they also had THE COOLEST FLOAT OF ALL TIME. It was basically a giant floating yoga mat...I tried that though, and as it turns out, I am not skilled in the aquatic-yoga department. I'll stick to horizontal tanning. You'll die over the price of this suit.

By now you guys know, I am not really a dress girl. I love a short, a pant, a romp..er, a jumpsuit, but there are very few dresses I actually like on my own self. I was a tomboy for the first half of my life, so I assume that is where this insecurity comes from. This little white shift was a total game-changer for me. I love the fit and the length (I am wearing a small), and I love it even more as a casual daytime look to bop around in.
