WEEKEND STYLE IN REVIEW.

Gobble gobble week is over and it's time to talk what really matters. The dressing. By that I mean what I wore. This is really just a stream of consciousness at this point, because SO. VERY. SLEEPY. Being thankful is serious & exhausting. Let's get down to the business.
This is a throwback to last weekend, SORRY, but this was my travel gear for the car ride back from SC to ATL. I cannot get enough of these H&M slip-ons. Needing a few more colors like now.
Rocked this tweed number from Express on my last day in the office. I love the zippered detail on the sleeves. The Minus the Leather line by Express is really blowing my mind lately.
Found this amazing RING at Nordstrom on Black Friday.
Pranced around outside with my sweet Momma before she left town. Totally one with nature.
Snagged this precious little chalkboard sign at Mast General Store. Hashtag feelings.
Finally finished our sparkly tree! I love my little apartment this time of year.
The scene at our house tonight. Love that baby girl.
Back to the grind tomorrow, Gilties. Have another glass of wine and forget about it, I know I am.

OVERSEAS IN OVERALLS.

Oh BONJOUR, babies! I'm baaack! So sorry for this little hiatus, but I was lost in a world of croissants, chateaus and VERY little wifi. Once I realized I could actually live without constant access to Instagram, it was glorious. So as expected, Europe was absolutely incredible. I have never been anywhere half as magical, and getting to experience all of it with my man leading the way made it that much more unbelievable.

One of my favorite things about the people in both London & Paris, across the board, was their total commitment to wearing whatever the heck they wanted without caring what anyone thought. You can literally wear anything and everything and no one will look at you twice. I love that about bigger cities. In the South, it is the total opposite, but we make up for it with tons of free parking, Country music and more sunshine.

I took this as an opportunity to wear the heck out of my overalls. Honestly, I take any opportunity to wear my overalls. They were perfect for the Paris weather and were super comfy while walking hundreds of miles around the city. I paired mine with a crop top (obsessed with this look) and Steve Madden block heels. Oh, ya wanna see? Good thing I have 1.7 million photos to share.

If you follow my Instagram, you already know I did this pose all over Europe.

My favorite picture and my favorite person.
This carriage ride was a total surprise. Paul won Paris.

And this was just ONE afternoon. Seriously, trip of a lifetime. The good news is, Paul can never leave me because I'll be indebted to him for about the next 37 years. Kiddinggg…sort of.

AU REVOIR.

Bye bye, Gilties. I'm leaving you! Well, only temporarily, but I really like to imagine that you are distraught, crying and may even need to take a day or two off of work to recover.

Over the next 10 days, the boy & I are going to be flitting around London (his hometown!), dans un train-ing to Paris, and then finally driving through France to Bordeaux for Paul's cousin's wedding. Très romantic, right? Le sigh. Anyway, I am still planning to post, but am not sure what my inna-net situation will be over there, so please bear with me.

I've never been to Europe period, but I am pretty sure it will look a lot like this...just with more alcohol:

We haven't even left yet & I've already been banned from mentioning Spice World, Ladies of London and Made in Chelsea.

Wish us (ok, mostly him) luck & get ready for a sickening amount of things like this:

Mostly that last one, let's be honest. Je t'aime, bitches.

AIRPORT STYLE: THE EURO EDITION.

Airport style is weirdly one of my very favorite things. It's probably one of the top categories of outfits that I pin, and something I seriously consider before every trip. I have no idea why this is so intriguing to me, but if I had to pick someone to blame, it would be Us Weekly. In fact, I can blame about 94% of my issues on Us Weekly. Their issues = my issues. Ew, see what I did there? Ha.

My airport style mantra is all about comfort. Comfort & the color black. If I were to start a line of airport clothing, it would simply be called, "Black Comfort." Do with that what you will. I am a very goth traveler, what can I say?

This Missoni duffle was an AMAZING TJMaxx find.
