FITTING ROOM FILES.

If you follow me on Snapchat (smart move), you know I love a good fitting room story. If Cher from Clueless taught us nothing else, it's that we should NEVER trust mirrors and should always take polaroids...er selfies? How much would Cher love Snapchat?! The limit does not exist. Last night, I was killing a little time in Express (per usual) and started my Fall wishlist:

HEART CROP TOP / HEART ANKLE PANT

Just the one pose in 2015. Forgot to save before typing on that last one. Novice mistake. Having an Express cc always gets me into trouble, but at least I will look chic in debtor's prison? Wait though, is that a real place? Ugh, my life is in shambles.

My beautiful Charleston best, Ashley Summer Davis (#hottestname), is coming to town this weekend, so if you aren't following me on all social media outlets, now would be a really good time to start. #noFOMO

GILTY TURNS ONE!

Today is a big day in my little world. GILTY as charged is officially 1 year old! When I started this baby, I wasn't sure if anyone would read it aside from my mom (hey Suz!), but I was excited to have a creative outlet, and a place to gather my thoughts and ever-changing views on style. I also had a lot of questions like "what on earth is HTML?" and "why am I still hungry?" This #bloglife has been more fun and more work than I ever expected it to be, and I cannot thank you guys enough for your sweet support, words of encouragement and just for following along! Can't wait to see what this next year brings, but I hope it is lots. More is more, afterall.

Between my car dying (she's all better now!) and having my first experience with jury duty, this week has been kind of a blur. I apologize for my lack of posts, but I am back and am determined to be on it! Here are a few of my favorite looks from life lately:

PANAMA HAT/ SUNGLASSESFLORAL JUMPSUIT: F21

I wish I could tell you I was off to celebrate the big O-N-E by doing something fabulous, but I am already in pajamas and plan to be very horizontal. Birthdays can be so exhausting.

GO-TO SUMMER GLAM RECIPE.

Well kittens, I am off to Miami tonight to celebrate one of my best's golden birthday (when you turn the age of your day of birth, in her case, 28 on the 28th!) and packing has me in a swirl. This is my go-to recipe for easy summer glam either at home, or at a party in the city where the heat is on, ya feel?

Back soon! I promise to write you. If you aren't following me on Snapchat yet, now would be a really good time to start: harrisonsapp4. And Instagram. And this Instagram. I have a problem.

TRINA TURK BEACH BRUNCH.

This weekend I was lucky enough to spend my Sunday morning at the Trina Turk store in Phipps Plaza, celebrating her 20th Anniversary collection & spring/summer in general. My beautiful & talented blogger-friend Jessica, Trina Turk Ambassador and voice behind My Style Vita, hosted and we snacked, sipped and shopped our way through the entire Atlanta location.
After lots of dress-up, this jumpsuit was by far my favorite pick & favorite fit.

There was so much in this store that I wanted, I can't even put it into words. If anyone has any money they are looking to get rid of, please contact me and giltyaschargedgirl@gmail.com. Juuuust kidding, but ya know, not?

WEEK IN REVIEW + A BAG SALE.

Bringing you all the goods on this Good Friday! Let's review.

1. I bought this jacket from H&M this week. I always panic and buy one last jacket before hot weather hits. This one caught my eye, too. Ponder, ponder.

2. I am selling this Kate Spade bag to make way for new goodies! Less than a year old, $95 shipped. Email me if interested: giltyaschargedgirl@gmail.com - SOLD! Stay tuned for more sales to come!
3. The Easter Bunny comes this weekend and I will be dreaming of this ring, but rocking this version instead.

4. Starting this month, Wigwam Fest is coming to ATL. It's basically the Coachella of fitness/wellness. More here.

5. My custom tote bag from Veeshee just came in! I'll be sharing it with you guys on Instagram soon.

6. Loving the idea of a full-skirt for Easter brunch. Florals and laser cut fabircs are still some of my faves for Spring.
Hope you bunnies have a perfect Easter weekend!

WEEK IN REVIEW.

It's almost Friday (praise the LAWD), so I thought I'd recap the things I am loving most this week, aside from you of course. Sort of an appetizer for the weekend debauchery that is to come? (Happy Happy Birthday to my JTucke & Dimesatchel!) Fact: I never skip the appetizer portion of the meal.

1. LOUD WORKOUT WEAR.
So obviously ready to get my #SVELTEfit on. And who knew Carrie Underwood had her own activewear line!? Have you registered for your first class yet? It's free! Let's go to the barre and then the bar. Code: giltyaschgd

2. THE SPARKBOARD.
My beautiful and talented friend Tina launched her brainchild, The Sparkboard, this week and it is every bit as amazing & inspiring as it sounds. Real art pieces, reclaimed wood, an endless platform for your own creativity? Do yourself a favor and check her out here. You can even support her launch if you feel like your own spark has been #ignited.

3. UNDERGROUND RUNWAY.
This is the absolute first place I go when I am looking for designer pieces at a WAY discounted price. My adorable friend Emily Westergreen runs this fashion powerhouse out of her basement, and people literally flock to her door. I drive her crazy trying to get the best deals from her first, but she puts up with me because I'm funny and always travel with wine. I keep up with all of her latest finds on her Facebook page, but you can also check in right from the website. Bonus for out-of-towners? She ships!
DRESS: H&M (OLD) similar here / NECKLACE / BLAZER

4. LINDI SKIN.
I am a big fan of mixing up my skin care routine, mostly because I love products, but also because I have combination skin that is always changing with the weather. One of my favorite PR mavens sent me a few Lindi Skin products for a test drive and I have become OBSESSED. The entire line is super gentle because it was actually developed for cancer patients whose skin had become sensitive during treatment. My favorite by far is the citrus face serum. It feels like silk and has just enough hydration for my face before bed without making it greasy at all. You can peruse the rest at lindiskin.com and use CODE: BLOG25 for 25% off and free shipping through May 31st! They are donating the proceeds to the American Cancer Society. #nearanddear

 5. MAKE-UP & MAHKEUP.
Two products I cannot get enough of right now. First up, Complexion Rescue by Bare Minerals (Thanks to Megan over at Holy City Chic for selling me on this one!). I have been using it for just over two weeks now and am totally in love! I am more of a full-coverage girl, and this works perfectly under my Make up Forever foundation.

Secondly, after a little skinformation sesh with my best girl Amanda, I decided to test drive the Laura Mercier primer this week over my usual Smashbox pick. I have really been happy with how much more hydrating it is! Definitely keeping this one around in the beauty arsenal.

If you are like me, you are always looking for new beauty products, and more importantly, trying to figure out how the heck to wear them. Check out my beautiful friend Mahlon's blog MAHKEUP to keep up on all of the latest! Bonus points for that name, girlfriend.
Happy (almost) weekend, Gilties! Thanks for being you. EW, I'm so emotional about leaving you!

KEEPIN' IT ONE HUNNID.

You are about to be a part of history in the making. This...right now…is my 100th post! I seriously can't even believe it. This baby blog has been such a dream of mine for so long, so I really cannot thank YOU enough for following along!

In true milestone spirit, I plan to celebrate with a little gift to moi from moi & I don't think it's any coincidence that Shopbop is having their biggest sale of the year at this very moment. These are all in the running. Click each image to shop!
AND..It wouldn't be a true #TBT without throwing it back to my very first post…

WEEKEND RECAP: BALTIMORE.

As you guys know if you listen to me ever, I spent this past weekend in Baltimore celebrating my best friend Molly's engagement. <Shout out to Billy for the most perfect of ring selections!> We drank champagne. We ate seafood by the seashore. We drank champagne. We shopped. And finally, we drank champagne. It was a huge success overall and I really hated to leave my favorite five Sunday afternoon. Here's a little sneak peek of how fun we are:
The soup at Mama's on the Half Shell was out of control.

Bride + Groom-to-be!
Is this MANGO coat not amazing? I seriously cannot get enough of it and I have only worn it once *outside* of my apartment since it came in last week. What I do in my house is my business.
I got home to an ATL monsoon, so you can imagine how excited I was to find these cozy BEARPAW beauties on my doorstep. The leopard portion is made out of real rabbit fur and feels even better than it looks. The Desdemona snow boot is next on my Christmas list!

The struggle was so real yesterday and today,y'all. I just cannot. I'll be sipping the green until further notice.

BIRTHDAY WEEKEND: OUTFIT RECAP.

It is very safe to say that my birthday weekend was a raging success. Rage being the operative word here. No, but really, I had three super fun days celebrating with the best people a birthday girl could ever wish for. Here are the details:
On Friday, I received 50 of the most beautiful roses I have ever seen & my heart exploded. P for the win, every single time.
Friday night, my best girls took me to dinner at King + Duke. I also got this incredibly true little sign from Megan. Real LOLz.
I wore a fun little crop top & an old H&M skirt, similar here.
I'm sorry, I've said it before and I'll say it again…I have the most fun group of girlfriends in the world. It doesn't hurt that they are also all stunningly beautiful.

Surprise #476 of the day, P sent two bottles of Veuve to our table. That man knows the way to my heart like no one else. Matching the champagne is encouraged, but not required.
Saturday night was the big par-tay at Gold Room. I wore this amazing white jumpsuit and could not have been more obsessed with it. There are those Zara shoes, yet again. I spy Ashley's suitcase.

Side note: If you haven't been to Gold Room since it reopened, you are seriously missing out.
I finally got an ear cuff and it has been completely life changing. This one is from Icing. I KNOW! Here is a similar one, although I just got it on Saturday so I am not sure why it's not online.

I meeean, I'm sorry, but I cannot stop staring at/photographing these beauties. Makes my heart happy.
For the grand finale last night, P took me to One Midtown Kitchen and it took all of about 12 minutes for this place to become my new favorite restaurant in Atlanta. OH my God, the food. Four words people, grilled goat cheese toast.
Like, WHAT? Get that. Get that now.
We came home to one last special surprise. This man is in a league of his own, guys I'm telling you. He actually had to resuscitate me at one point. #heartpalpitations
I am SO thankful to be surrounded by such an amazing group of people. If this is any sign of how life goes as a gf in her late-twenties, I am floating on cloud nine.

Tomorrow is my birthday...hay hay! Shout out Scorpios. No birthday would be complete without a wish list (or champagne), so here is a sneak peek at some of my clickable most wanted:
There is also a VERY purple invitation circulating for my party at Gold Room (I meean, of course my party is somewhere called GOLD Room!) Saturday night, so if you are in ATL, come celebrate ME with me! Juuuust kidding. Sort of? #onlychild #whatisthatonmyeye

OUT OF MY MIND FOR SKULLS.

It's getting eerily close to Halloween (yay!) and that means it's time to break out one of my very favorites...the skull print. I have to admit, I love a good skull year round, but this is the time of year when it makes the most sense and doesn't make people think I am some kind of blonde goth. What? That's a real issue I face.

Anyway, I love skulls. I want to wear them. I want to decorate with them. I want them in all shapes and sizes and I want them now. ZGALLERIE understands this & so does Alexander McQueen. Unfortunately, I can't afford the latter (YET), so for now, I'm sticking to these headcases:

skulls, decor, alexander mcqueen, zgallerie, halloween

skull, scarf, halloween
Doing Fallish things this weekend with Brandi.
SKULL SCARF (similar)
I got this scarf about a year ago at Target. Can you even deal with that information!? I have an amazing skull top I will be posting a little later, so don't forget to check back. Halloween chic, ghouls. I can't get enough of it!

WEEK IN REVIEW: W THINKS PINK + #100PERCENTBLOOMIES

This week has been a total whirlwind…and it's only Thursday! Where to begin?! Tuesday night was the 5th annual W ThinksPINK Cure on the Catwalk which is an incredible event benefitting breast cancer research that is put on by my amazing friend Lisa Vingerling. Lisa, who is a Survivor herself, is also the Founder of Pink Heals Foundation. This fashion-based event is always one of my favorites all year long. Seeing young, beautiful breast cancer survivors rock the runway is something you don't soon forget and I always leave feeling so proud to have a friend like Lisa. My Aunt Katherine beat breast cancer this past year and one of my oldest friend's mom (shout out Becky Jones!) has beat it TWICE! I am constantly reminded that I am surrounded by an insanely strong group of women. Pretty amazing.

Stole Lisa away from the paparazzi for this one.

DRESS (old by Mystic) / BOOTIES

Last night was the #100percentbloomies event I helped host at Bloomingdale's here in ATL, courtesy of Jezebel Magazine. The best part of playing stylist for the day was getting my very own rolling rack! I felt like Lauren Conrad, circa Teen Vogue, but pre-the not-going-to-Paris fiasco.

With so many amazing designers, it was almost impossible to choose just three looks.
Let's just see how many times in one week I can wear these shoes.
My gorgeous model, Molly Palmer.
Molly's 1st look: TED BAKER / KATE SPADE / BAG(similar)
This smoke print by Maje was my favorite pick.
My best girls, Megan & Brandi, came out to support!
These VINCE sneakers are everything.
Molly's 2nd Look: Casual Streetwear.
SWEATER (All Saints NA online) / TEE / DENIM / SNEAKERS

Can we talk about these Kate Spade bags!? Cute cute.

Huge thank you to Allison Mitchell, Jezebel Magazine, Mara Maddox, Bloomingdale's Lenox & of course, my model Molly, for making all of my visions come to life. What an amazing week of doing what I love. Feeling pretty lucky right about now. To top all of this off, my best Bostonian boop is coming to visit this weekend! #cloudnine

WHO RUN THE WORLD? GIRLS.

Happy work week, babies! Are we all well-rested from a weekend of leisure? No. Let's be serious, we are all hungover and seriously angry at pants for existing. I share your pain vicariously, but am actually off today and have been lying by the pool for the past hour. I had big plans to wake up and work out, but retreated to my couch and watched 3 episodes of Real Housewives of Melbourne instead. Have you guys SEEN this trainwreck? Jackie. That is all I can say.

The whole RHO-franchise is an appropriate intro for this post. One of the best things I have discovered about Atlanta since moving here in 2012 is that girls here really lift each other up and promote each other instead of acting catty and tearing each other down, which is all too common these days. I moved here knowing only a handful of people and was instantly welcomed by a huge (mostly blonde) group of amazing girls. That was SO refreshing to me as it was a complete 180 from when I moved to Boston, where it took me a full year to make a solid, but small group of friends. Blame it on the South, but it also just goes to show the true caliber of the girls here in ATL. You go, Glen Coco.

For example, today I am fortunate enough to be meeting with a friend of mine, Jessica Camerata, who runs a wildly successful blog called My Style Vita here in Atlanta. I think the fact that she is willing to meet with a newbie like me speaks volumes and I am over the top thankful. Go check out her blog if you haven't already.

I am so excited to get some tips for this bloggle from a pro. Can't wait to share my newfound knowledge with you guys asap. Now, go. And remember, you have as many hours in the day as Beyonce. WERK.

MONDAY KICK-OFF: FALL HAUL PART I.

How is it Monday again already? No, but really. This weekend was a super fun blur. I worked Saturday, then went out to Atkins Park for dinner in the pouring rain with my presh friend Brandi (which was worth it for the caprese alone). Then finally, Sunday was the boyfriend's birthday (yay!) and we watched all of season one of House of Cards. Couldn't move. Couldn't look away. We are an exciting couple, no? Honestly, after all of our travels and then a full week of work, it was so nice to be glued to the couch in our pajamas. I am sure he will be so thrilled I am telling you all of this. Anyway, after all of this recouping, today I finally got my butt in gear, cleaned house and got a manicure. It's incredible what a fresh coat of gel can do for one's attitude.

It rained…again. NECKLACE: The Courtney Bib
The dapper Birthday Boy.
Gelish polish: Make You Blink Pink
I also did a little online shopping this weekend with my favorite monthly Express coupons & got started on my Fall-Haul. These hauties are en route to their new home, avec moi:
express fal-haul

I am never really fully ready to accept the end of Summer, but always get excited for it once the stores start switching over to their Fall floor sets. Is there anything better than the Fall closet? No. Please don't tell my 964 bikinis I said that.
