Y'all will have to excuse the shortness of this shoot! I had the flu ALL last week (horrible!!) and the couch was as far as I could move. Will was sweet enough to help me snap these. My current obsession with all things velvet is very, very real. It is such a cozy material, you could literally wear this dress to bed or to a party. Love that! You probably saw my NYE coat, but here are a few more velvety goodies i am itching to get my paws on! Could you DIE over that jacket?! I would pair it with this faux fur clutch. NEED NEED NEED.

My Christmas babies!! How are you ho-ho-holding up? I am recovering from being on my deathbed in this robe, yet again, with a sinus infection. Can I get a new nose? Like, is mine just not big enough to endure daily life? I just cannot. Anyway, I am on the mend thanks to a ton of real meth-filled Sudafed and enough Theraflus to float the Titanic, and that means I am back to YOU! All the merry feels. I am probably still gonna wear the robe though. Ok.

At this point, I should really just be sponsored fully by Express and Steve Madden. Can somebody work that out for me? I ordered this sweater for work, but when it came in, it was practically hanging there BEGGING me to pair it with my favorite cut-offs at least once before it got too cold. This sweater/shorts combo is one that I am always drawn to in photos. It is covered up and functional, but leaves a little flash of skin for an unexpectedly sexy twist on the old faithful denim and boots combo. I would do this same look with a long cardigan like this one. Ah! I just wish it would stay 65 degrees a littttttle longer.

Perfect outfit for meeting a girlfriend for coffee, or for a fall festival outside before the temps really drop. Maybe skip it if you are meeting the parents though, they may not be able to see past the Julia Roberts-esque boot-to-thigh ratio. File that under #GILTYtips.
