This warmer weather has me thinking about one thing...NEW SHOES. It also has me thinking I should back away from the chicken fingers, but hey, one thing at a time. IT'S ELECTRIC: SCENE-STEALING MINI BAG.

I looked like a cockatoo for most of this shoot, and I hateeee birds, but it was phenomenal. Let's talk details. I am all about a big bag, but the super bright minis this season have really been tugging at my heartstrings. I decided to treat myself to this pop of pink from Target as a test drive and I LOVE it. It also comes in green, and at a Target price, I can't promise I won't snag that one too. Sorry not sorry.

SHOWROOM SPOTLIGHT: DIANA WARNER.

This past week I was lucky enough to be invited to preview the Diana Warner showroom at AmericasMart here in Atlanta. Total dream day. If you don't know what the Mart is, it is basically the wholesale fashion mecca for our entire side of the country. It's actually one of the world's largest wholesale trade centers and I am hashtag blessed enough to live 15 minutes from it.

If you aren't familiar with the line, Diana Warner is lifestyle brand that features jewelry, shoes and clothing and it is all TO DIE. It is worn by celebs like Taylor Swift and Blake Lively, and she has retail stores in NY and TN. Diana herself is just as cool as she is beautiful…she even referred to Sam Edelman as just "Sam." LOVE! Picture a Jennifer Aniston-type girl that has the vision to create these amazing designs, but also keeps her showroom fun and interactive with a paint station, a full photography set-up where you can play model for the day and free roaming puppies. I meeeean? Here are a few snaps from the day.

KICKIN' IT.

I have a dead serious case of multiple-style-personalities disorder and I am not ashamed to admit it. One day I might be in something super girly and hot pink with the highest heels I can find, and the next minute I am in all black, cool-girl garb rocking a pair of sneakers. That is the very best part about fashion in my opinion. You get to go into your closet each morning and decide who you want to be. My style is constantly changing and evolving and I wouldn't have it any other way. One fun look I love to emulate is this street-style sneaker scenario that Olivia Palermo has completely nailed. She can really do no wrong in my book…off of 'The City' that is.

NYE STYLE RECAP.

Happy New Year!! Has everyone made and broken their resolutions? I am not a big resolution girl myself, I just usually decide to focus on trying to better myself in small ways here and there. I love Bethenny Frankel's quote, "Do what you can." As long as you are doing what you can, you can never disappoint yourself. Today for me that meant sleeping in, watching HGTV over my mid-morning coffee and finishing tonight with a 3 mile walk and some couch time with Coco girl. Doesn't take much! 

Let's talk NYE for one more minute. I found this fun gold foil jumpsuit at Topshop in Nordstrom. It was $75 and I bought it and then promptly returned it. I can be very indecisive. Anyway, I decided I wanted it again, went back to grab it and found it on sale for $37! MAJOR win. This is what I call "outFATE"..outfit fate. Thank you, shopping Gods.

I wore this H&M blazer as my jacket, which I eventually shed and abandoned at the coat check. NYE, y'all. Never fear, she is home now safe & sound. I also decided to throw it back to the hoop earring. Shout out, Icing.

This is the only pic I have of the BCBG booties I wore with it. Super comfy and they hit at a flattering part of the ankle, which is VERY important in a bootie when you are bare-leggin' it. I got these at DSW, but there are tons of similar options available right now.

Thursday I was super impressed with myself for popping out of bed and turning my swag on, like Willow Smith. Just snagged these burgandy French Connection pumps at DSW. The hat is Forever 21!

After such a fun few days, Coco and I spent most of yesterday and today like this. My mom got me this Nate Berkus throw for Christmas and neither of us are ever moving from underneath it. Back to the grind tomorrow, kittens! I am shooting some great looks this week, so stay tuned!

My dad LOVED Christmas more than anyone ever, and he absolutely passed that love down to me. Instead of just opting for filler, I make sure every stocking stuffer is well-thought out and meaningful. See what I mean?? The stocking is SO much fun. I love mixing cheapies like that cute little sweater-clad flask from Nordstrom (literally less than $10!!) with higher end finds like those timeless Kate Spade gloves (that are also smartphone friendly!). Even Kate knows some of the hottest texting happens in colder weather, am I right? Amen. Also super important..useful hair-removing gifts like the fuss-free Epislim, as well as that old school little men's shaving brush I found at Target for just $19. Let's all vow to remain fuzz-free until warmer months. It's just nicer that way.

GRAY AREA.

The Arctic Blast is upon us, y'all. Do not want. Despite the rude temperatures, it does give us a chance to rock some pretty fierce outerwear. It's all about the silver lining...or in this case, the gray one. You guys might recognize this jacket from my first FALL HAUL post back in August. Loved finally getting to take her for a spin around Buck-hood. Obsessing over the contrasting black zippers would be an understatement.

CURRENT COLOR CRUSH: OXBLOOD.

Out of nowhere, I am fully crushing on all-things oxblood for fall/winter 2014. I am telling you, this came on fast and hard and I don't think it is going anywhere soon. It all started when I walked into Zara over the weekend and saw this amazing perforated bootie so beautiful, it almost persuaded me to pull for the Gamecocks. RELAX. It was only a matter of time before I referenced Lil Wayne on this blog, and to be honest, I am surprised that it took this long. That mini man is my spirit animal, but I digress. Since the very first time that I saw The Golden Girls, I knew that I was meant to be draped in a caftan more often than not, and desperately needed to become the proud owner of a lanai. This became an obstacle as I was not prepared to move to Florida, or to wait until I was 85.
