IT'S ELECTRIC: SCENE-STEALING MINI BAG.

I looked like a cockatoo for most of this shoot, and I hateeee birds, but it was phenomenal. Let's talk details. I am all about a big bag, but the super bright minis this season have really been tugging at my heartstrings. I decided to treat myself to this pop of pink from Target as a test drive and I LOVE it. It also comes in green, and at a Target price, I can't promise I won't snag that one too. Sorry not sorry.

ALL ABOUT THAT BEIGE.

Sometimes I find a staple piece so good, that I can't help but buy it in multiple colors. That is exactly how I felt when I came face to face with this drapey capey top in Shelvie Jean Boutique. I tried it on in this greige tone and in black, then promptly bought both and skipped all the way home. Okay, skipped all the way to my car. Forty minutes of skipping would have been a little bit absurd, even for my standards.

BELT IT OUT: BURGANDY JUMPSUIT.

It's almost V-day and you know what that means. I am seeing all shades of RED. You guys know I love a good jumpsuit and this one dead serious called my name from across the room. This is another amazing find from Shelvie Jean and it is $42. I meeean…STEAL. I paired it with my old faithful H&M blazer and those French Connection pumps I picked up on NYE, accessorized with my stackable rings from shopalix.com and finished it off with a French Connection clutch. I am all about shopping locally and supporting small businesses. Especially when it comes down to adorable and affordable boutiques like Shelvie Jean. Their Covington, GA location has only been open for a few months now, but they also sell online via their website, www.shelviejean.com, as well as their Facebook profile. On top of having a great inventory, almost everything in the store is less than $100.00. I was lucky enough to swing by right after New Year's and fell head over high heels in love with this cape. Even better? It's reversible. Perfect for this heinous Georgia fog we have been living in!
